All Tubular Inspector are trained and cerified to ASNT Level II (M P I & L P I), they work to API
specificaion applying the relevant specificaion to each and every work to be performed.
American Society of Non-Destructive Testing (ASNT):
MEFGON has adopted its policies as well as standards on tubular
inspecions. MEFGON also offers inspecions as per DS1 standards within its scope of operation.
Qualifications
Beside the above mentioned qualificaions, all personnel authorised to undertake or directly
supervise any inspection and reporting on tubular goods / equipment items on behalf of
MEFGON are trained and independently assessed.
MEFGON Lifting Equipment Inspectors
Policy:
All personnel authorised to undertake or directly supervise the inspection; reporting and-->
certificaion of lifting equipment items on behalf of MEFGON are trained and independently assessed by the Lifting Equipment Engineers Associaion (L.E.E.A.) of the UK
Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (L.E.E.A.):
MEFGON has adopted the code of Practice of this organisaion as a basis for all Standard Operating Procedures relating to the cerificaion of Li^ing Equipment within MEFGON’s scope of operation.
Qualifications
Inspection personnel undergo technical training provided both by the L.E.E.A. and internally by-->
MEFGON. Inspectors are independently assessed and qualified by the L.E.E.A. in relation to
Lifting Equipment Inspetcion, and by A.S.N.T in relation to NDT requirements.
Inspectors are trained in M.P.I, L.P.T and Eddy current techniques of N.D.T.
